Human Resources and Administrative Manager needed in
Job Description: Human Resources and Administrative Manager Operation Kindness, a non-profit organization and the largest and oldest no-kill animal shelter in the Greater Dallas/Fort Worth area, has an opening for a Human Resources and Administrative Manager. Position is responsible for the following functions: Ensure Compliance for employer and employee with federal and state Human Resources Laws; Hiring and Termination administration; Records Management; Human Resources support for the Executive Director and supervisory staff; Payroll; Benefits and 403(b) administration. He or she directly supervises the staff member(s) who support the Office, IT, Facilities and Volunteer programs. Must have degree in business, human resources management or related field and at least three years experience in the human resources and benefits administration field in a supervisory role. Operation Kindness is the oldest and largest no-kill animal shelter in North Texas. Since its founding in 1976, Operation Kindness has provided a safe haven for more than 45,000 kittens, puppies, cats and dogs. We care for an average of 250 animals on a day-to-day basis, with another 50-80 animals in foster homes. More than 3,000 dogs and cats are adopted from Operation Kindness annually. Our mission is to provide quality care for homeless or unwanted cats and dogs in a compassionate, no-ill enviornment until they are adopted into responsible, loving homes and to be a leader in our community in promoting humane values through education and awareness.
